Here is a sketchy list of the "Symbolic Systems Reading List." The
criteria for this list reflects its motivation -- to give people interested
in Symbolic Systems a list of pertinent and interesting books which
will stimulate intellectual thought and provide possible basis for
discussion. If any of the references are wrong or insufficient, please
send the correction to me. If these suggest some addition or
subtraction from the list, please also send the correction to me. I
fear that some suggestions may have been lost in the shuffle, so
please submit again that which I may have left out. Any comments
at all would be helpful. (Additionally, there is a booklet for
prospective symbolic systems majors being put together. It will
include a list of possible readings, drawn at least in part from this
list.)
